Firefighters in Arlington, Fort Worth and Grand Prairie responded to several housefires Sunday night that may have been started by lightning.

At least three homes caught fire Sunday as a strong summer storm pushed through the Metroxplex. The storms brought much needed rain, but also high winds and lightning that is being blamed for sparking the fires.

So far, no injuries have been reported in connection with the storms or fires.

Scattered showers and storms are in the forecast through Wednesday, according to NBC 5 meteorologist Steve MacLaughlin.  Through mid-week, a high of 90 is expected with lows in the mid 70s.
