Freezing Rain Advisory Canceled

The Texas Department of Transportation had sand trucks ready if ice hit North Texas.

The National Weather Service canceled a Freezing Rain Advisory for much of North Texas, including the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area Tuesday morning.

Temperatures are warming above freezing in the Metroplex with the main threat of freezing rain now east of Dallas-Fort Worth.

Light showers are expected during the morning.

A dramatic warm-up should continue thru the day with temperatures rising to near 50.

Wednesday and Thursday's highs should in the 60's.
