Denton's A-Train Suspended Because of Flooding

    Kerry Smith, NBC 5 News
Heavy rains and flooding like this near Lewisville Lake have caused the DCTA to suspend its train service.

Flooding may have just made the commute from Denton to Dallas much longer.

The Denton County Transportation Authority decided to suspend its A-train service because of recent flooding caused by record rain.

The DCTA said a bus bridge will service all A-train rail stations from downtown Denton to the Trinity Mills station in Carrollton.

The DCTA said the bus bridge will be operating on Monday, June 1.
