Collin County Now Under Burn Ban

196 Texas counties are now under outdoor burning bans.

Collin county is the latest North Texas county to put a burn ban in place. Dry conditions and the increasing risk of wildfires are the main reasons.

The ban will be in place for 90 days unless we get a significant amount of rain.
