Is your Mapsco street guide still missing the George Bush Turnpike?

Good news: North Texans can swap out their outdated street guides and upgrade to the 2009 edition for $10.

The Addison-based company said customers can visit any Mapsco location and trade in their Dallas or Fort Worth mapbooks.

A Mapsco spokesman said more than 1,000 old guides -- some of which dated back to the mid-1980s -- were traded in during the first two days of the promotion.

The deal runs until May 2.

Mapsco has three locations in the Metroplex:

  • Addison: 4181 Centurion Way, 972-450-9380 or 866-562-1514
  • Dallas: 11811 Preston Rd, 972-960-1414 or 800-796-6277
  • Fort Worth: 6353 Camp Bowie Rd., 817-731-1666 or 800-388-1201

You can also visit the company's Web site at: www.mapsco.com.
