Game Day Shuttles Return for Longhorn Fans
"Huddle Shuttles" now become "Longhorn Express"

If you're planning on driving down to Austin and you want to take the shuttle, it's back!
University of Texas football fans will be able to take shuttles the stadium to the rest of this season's home games after outcries when previous service was canceled.
UT officials decided Wednesday to resume bus service after the so-called "Huddle Shuttle" with Dallas-based Executive Coach was dropped earlier this month.
The school discontinued the 2009 contract when the bus company was unable to provide sufficient staffing or equipment.
Complaints of traffic jams and lack of ways to get to the Sept. 19 Texas Tech game at Royal-Memorial Stadium prompted UT to arrange for bus service.
The Austin American-Statesman reports Capital Metro will take over the new "Longhorn Express."
The shuttle service will cost $8 per roundtrip. Children age 5 and under can ride for free.
The big difference is that instead of dropping fans off close the stadium the shuttles will bring fans from remote parking lots to within blocks of stadium and fans will have to walk the rest of the way.
Capital Metro tells the Statesman that will keep the turnaround time low and get more fans to and from the stadium faster with fewer buses.
On Saturday UT hosts Texas-El Paso.
