Gas prices drop, but DART numbers grow

DART Ridership Still Rising

DART's llight rail continues to gain popularity.

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) ridership rose again in November.

DART reported increase in the numbers of people riding their trains and buses.

Bus ridership jumped to its highest in 8 years and the numbers on the trains were up, increasing 2.3% over the year before.

More people were using DART's  HOV lanes on local highways with ridership  jumping 36%.
