Traffic was snarled Friday morning along Interstate 30 after a tractor-trailer carrying lumber spilled its load.

The accident happened on eastbound I-30 on the ramp to southbound Loop 12-Walton Walker.

The accident also caused a backup on westbound I-30 because westbound and eastbound traffic share the same ramp to Loop 12.

The truck driver was not hurt.

The roadway remained closed as of 10:30 a.m. Friday as crews stacked the lumber and used a forklift to load it onto a flatbed trailer.
