Wonder What the Dallas North Tollway Will Look Like Eventually?

As you drive through cone zones day after day, week after week, month after month, it can be tough to imagine how some of North Texas' constructions projects will look when complete.

Thursday, the North Texas Tollway Authority tried to help drivers see what the Dallas North Tollway will look like when it's complete.

The NTTA released a driver's view (above) and an aerial view (below) that show the widening of the DNT.

The NTTA is making improvements to the DNT from I-635 north to the Sam Rayburn Tollway to ease congestion during peak drive times. Improvements include adding a fourth lane, new aggregate surfaces and lights moved from the center median to the outside of the roadway.

Krystle Gutierrez has the 411 on cone zones that could make your drive a little more hectic, including projects on I-35W, I-35E and the Dallas North Tollway.
