Dallas police said a woman died after two hit-and-run crashes on Central Expressway early Sunday morning.
Police said the woman was involved in a crash and stopped on U.S. 75 near the Knox Street exit at about 3:25 a.m. She got out of the car was standing in the median when she was struck and killed by a maroon Audi.
The driver of the Audi — later identified as 21-year-old Michelle Davis — fled, but police arrested her a short time later. She was booked into the Dallas County jail on charges of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle and accident involving serious bodily injury.
Police have not released the name of the victim.
