Work on the railroad bridge over state Highway 114 near Farm-to-Market Road 156 has been completed and the road is reopened.
The bridge was damaged Wednesday when a big-rig struck a bridge support, moving the train tracks and a train that were overhead.
According to TxDOT, work on the bridge progressed very well overnight and testing of the train tracks began at about 1 a.m. Thursday.
FM 156 bridge repairs began Thursday and the road, in both directions, was reopened at about 4 p.m.
