Rowlett police closed eastbound lanes of Interstate 30 Thursday to reconstruct a fatal collision which happened New Year's morning.
The three-hour closure began at about 11:45 a.m. Crews hoped to reopen all lanes before 2 p.m. Thursday, police said in a statement.
Three eastbound I-30 lanes just east of the Dalrock Road overpass will be closed. Crews will keep one outside, eastbound lane open for traffic.
Rowlett police asked for drivers to remain patient as crews worked to reconstruct the crash scene.
