Weekend rains were still causing problems on North Texas roads in the form of potholes.
Several drivers on one busy stretch of Texas 183 in Irving had to pull off to the side of the road Monday afternoon when potholes blew out their tires.
"I saw the pothole, I just didn't see it quick enough to react," said driver Robert Hinojosa. "It was a big boom."
In two hours, an NBC 5 crew saw at least six cars in the same situation.
"I hit the pothole and it just completely popped my tire," said Kasey Reeder on the side of the road.
These drivers say the culprit is a pothole in the eastbound lanes right before the Carl Road exit in Irving.
"I've got two flats. I don't have one, I have two," another driver said.

All of the affected drivers called tow trucks.
As of Tuesday morning, the pothole had been repaired.
SouthGate Constructors, leader of the massive Midtown Express Project, says heavy rains caused potholes to form and that their crews are patching them up. They asked that drivers pay extra attention as repair work continues.
The Texas Department of Transportation has a "Report a Pothole" website.
