A pedestrian was struck and killed Monday evening while in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35E/Stemmons Freeway on the west side of downtown Dallas.
The crash was reported just after 8 p.m. at Continental Avenue, near the ramp for Woodall Rogers Freeway, officials said.
Northbound traffic was rerouted while investigators worked at the scene.
The Dallas County Sheriff's Department is investigating, and additional information was not immediately available.
