Drivers who frequently use the Pearl Street exit on Woodall Rodgers Freeway will need to find a new exit for a few months.
Crews closed the eastbound exit ramp Wednesday to begin working on part of the Woodall Rodgers Deck park.
Crews will be constructing a staddle abutment over the exit ramp, that will in turn support the beams that form the foundation of the park.
There will be plenty of signs in the area warning of the closure, and drivers will be detoured to the Field Street/Griffin Exit instead.
The closure is expected to last about four months.
