1 Killed in Fiery Crash Along Ten Mile Bridge Road

One person has died in a fiery crash off Ten Mile Bridge Road near Eagle Mountain Lake in Northwest Fort Worth.

Investigators believe the victim was driving alone at about 2 a.m. when he or she veered off the bridge and struck a tree. The car caught fire and the trapped victim died.

Authorities have not yet identified the victim.

The sheriff's department accident reconstruction team is at the scene of the crash taking measurements and trying to determine what took place.

At this time, the bridge is closed to traffic though officials hope to reopen it before 7:30 a.m.
