One Killed, Five Injured in Crash on I-35W in North Fort Worth

At least one person was killed in a crash along Interstate 35W in far North Fort Worth, MedStar Ambulance says.

The person died when two tractor-trailers, a flat bed and a tanker, collided with three other vehicles at about 11:15 a.m., MedStar and Fort Worth police said.

Four others were hospitalized, including two critically. The names of those involved in the crash have not yet been confirmed.

The cause of the crash has not yet been released.

The Texas Department of Transportation closed all southbound lanes of I-35W at Heritage Trace Parkway while the scene was cleared. The lanes reopened just before 3 p.m.
