    New Interstate 35E TEXpress Lanes Open

    The new TEXpress lanes on Interstate 35E are now open.

    The managed toll lanes, which are part of the 35Express project, run from Swisher Road in Denton County to Interstate 635 in Dallas County.

    Along the 18-mile stretch, there are 14 entrance ramps and 15 exit ramps. There will also be reversible lanes from Valwood Parkway to Swisher Road.

    The lanes are designed to help drivers avoid heavy delays. The goal is to have traffic moving at least 50 mph during peak times.
