    Jordan Landaverde, 19, is charged with intoxication manslaughter in connection with the deadly crash that forced the closure of I-35E in Carrollton Monday morning.

    Authorities say they've made an arrest in a crash that killed one woman and forced the shutdown of Interstate 35E in Carrollton early Monday morning.

    Investigators said Lindsay Weeks, 24, of Fort Worth, stopped on north on I-35E and got out of her vehicle after a previous crash.

    Police said 19-year-old Jordan Landaverde, of Lewisville, crashed into the vehicles at the scene, killing Weems. Two passersby who stopped to help were not hurt.

    Officers took the driver and a passenger, who both tried to run, into custody.

    Landaverde is charged with intoxication manslaughter. His 19-year-old passenger is charged with public intoxication, according to police.

    35Express officials said all four lanes of northbound I-35E near Sandy Lake Road were closed for several hours.
