A truck driver escaped a fiery crash in DeSoto unharmed overnight Thursday.
The crash took place just after midnight on the exit ramp from Interstate 35E to Belt Line Road.
Investigators said the 18-wheeler hit a barrier wall, fell on its side and burst into flames.
Friday morning, only the ramp is closed and cleanup is having only a minimal impact on early-morning traffic.
At this time there is no word on when the exit ramp will reopen.
