3 Killed, 1 Injured in West Dallas Crash: Authorities

Three people have died and one other person was injured after a crash Monday evening in West Dallas, according to police.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash in the 3200 block of Norwich Street, just north of Singleton Boulevard, at about 7 p.m.

Police said 17-year-old Frank Palemo was driving a 2015 Chevy Tahoe at a high rate of speed when he lost control and struck an unoccupied 2015 Ford Super Duty pick-up truck. Palemo was ejected onto the road, according to police.

Santos Mendoza, a passenger in the back seat of the SUV, was killed on impact.

Palemo and 20-year-old passengers Migual Cervantes and Richard Cruz were all transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital. Palermo and Cruz died on the way.

Additional details on the crash were not immediately available.
