Drivers using the Dallas North Tollway in Dallas need to be aware of several closures overnight Thursday.
Road crews will be repairing crash cushions on the tollway and will close the southbound exit ramp to Mockingbird Lane from 10 p.m. Thursday to 2 a.m. Friday.
Not only that, but the right lane will also be shut down during the same time on the southbound side in the one-mile span from Lovers Lane to Mockingbird Lane.
Then, from 2 to 5 a.m. Friday, the ramp connecting the end of the tollway to Interstate 35 will be closed along with the right lane from Oak Lawn Avenue to I-35.
Earlier Thursday, an 18-wheeler carrying a boom lift toppled over, shutting down the northbound lanes of the tollway for several hours at Interstate 635, near Galleria Dallas.
No one was injured in the crash, but the resulting backup lasted well into the evening as crews made repairs to the center concrete barrier.
