The on-again, off-again rain this weekend is adding to the traffic nightmare in two parts of North Texas.
Construction has major freeways in Tarrant and Collin counties shut down.
"It's really bad out here right now,” driver Ali Williams said.
Crews are demolishing part of the Tennyson Parkway Bridge to make space for two extra lanes.
As a result, the entire Dallas North Tollway is closed this weekend from Texas 121 to Spring Creek Parkway.
It’s leading to bumper-to-bumper traffic along the DNT and its frontage roads.
Drivers are in the same dilemma on Texas 183 in Euless.

Crews are demolishing the Euless Main Street Bridge as part of a road widening project.
The entire highway betweek Industrial Boulevard and Main Street is shut down.
It turned a morning coffee run into a marathon for Tracey Flemister.
"Usually it would take me five minutes to come across. Now it’s taking me 15-20 minutes just to come and get coffee,” Flemister said.
Both freeways will remain closed the rest of the weekend and re-open by the Monday morning commute.
The DNT will shut down again next weekend.
