Welcome to Vintage Week! Our week-long look at the best of the vintage shopping scene in Dallas and beyond. Vintage worshipers like Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen and Kate Moss made it cool to rock old-school style, and we're here to help you catch up to the vintage trend.

This week we devote days to Cheap Thrills (vintage under $100), Connisseurs and Collectors (luxury vintage), and Accessory Acquisitions (vintage accessories at all prices). Today we open our fashionable look back with a focus toward the online vintage resources we can't get enough of.

Shopping vintage online can be tricky, hard to find, and unreliable, but we've decoded the best sites to shop and the chicest choices they have to offer right now. We scoured Poshgirlvintage.com, Vintage-Instyle.com, Riceandbeansvintage.com, the almost local Bontonvintage.com, 1stdibs.com, and Shopgoodwill.com for the ultimate goodies from days gone by.

If you're in the mood to splurge, then 1stdibs.com and Poshgirlvintage.com are for you. 1stdibs is strictly high-end; standouts online now include an 80's YSL floral dress with an asymmetrical hem that's begging for a night out, gorgeous Alaia pieces, and an enormous amount of Chanel. 1stdibs operates like a bidding site, and the items featured for sale come from a wide variety of exclusive vintage stores all over the country - Resurrection, What Goes Around Comes Around, and RARE are examples. Bid on the pieces you love through 1stdibs or check the source store - always prominently noted - to buy directly without the bidding process.

Posh Girl features beautiful, well-curated pieces from all genres, but their best items are from the 50's and 60's. A no-name, rec, 60's evening gown and an adorable Pucci handbag are among our picks.

Vintage-Instyle.com - specializing in handbags - and Riceandbeansvintage.com keep their pricing moderate. Favorites on those sites include a stunning Max Holzman bag from Vintage-Instyle and great Missoni pieces from Rice And Beans. A word to the wise - if you see something you love the Rice And Beans site, buy it quickly! Their items go very fast.

On a budget? Check out Bontonvintage.com or Shopgoodwill.com. BonTon isn't far from Dallas - about an hour and a half drive - but if you're not up for the trip, check their merchandise online. We adore the black Emanuel Ungaro with the open, beaded back from BonTon, and Shopgoodwill has some great Dior and Armani pieces available. Shopgoodwill operates on a bidding system as well, and ultra-luxe designer good commonly go for less than $20. Seriously.

See the gallery for all of our fabulous finds, and keep checking back throughout the week for great vintage on racks locally.
