Holiday deal seekers are braving the cold weather to stake thier claim in line outside the Best Buy on Central in Dallas.

"I said I was going to grab my down coat just in case and I am so glad I did," said Cassandra Garrett.

Garrett was the first in line and many more shoppers were soon to follow.

By 10 p.m. Thursday, there were dozens of people camped outside the retailer.  Eager shopper Todd Johnson set up a tent and said, "it's nice to have a chair with a foot rest built into it so you can kick back and try to sleep if you can."

Best Buy's doors open at 5 a.m.  It will be a long night for shoppers looking for hot deals on a very cold morning.
