Open Date Set for Dallas' New Whole Foods

The largest Whole Foods store in North Texas opens next month in Dallas.

The grocery store will be across Central Expressway from NorthPark Center (8180 Park Lane) and is expected to open March 15.

The market will include underground parking, a special escalator that makes it easier for shoppers to move grocery carts from one parking level to the next, a gardening center as well as an outdoor stage for performances.

Locavores should be pleased, the store will also place an emphasis on produce grown by local farmers.  There will also be a robust selection of grain-fed meats, sustainably-harvested seafood as well as a large selection of artisan cheeses.

With the underground parking and plethora of unique offerings, the store seems to be a pretty good knock-off of the chain's flagship store in Austin.

For those looking for employment, Whole Foods Market is now filling open positions at the store.  Click here to read more about available positions.
