Not Everyone Shops Early on Black Friday

Black Friday is a big sales day for retailers, but not all stores want to open up that early.

The Shops at Willow Bend in Plano didn't open it's door at midnight , and most shoppers didn't seem to mind.

"I like to sleep too much," said Davia Madariaga of Allen, who admits she won't stand in line at midnight to shop on Black Friday.

"No, no. Not unless there is just something outstanding to be had," said Albert Madariaga, Davia's husband.

Instead of opening up at the crack of dawn, the Shops at Willow Bend awarded several $500 shopping sprees to customers on Black Friday.

The mall does plan to expand it's shopping hours in December, but they won't be opening up early. Instead, they'll stay open later.
