Jerome Dreyfuss handbags are the epitome of eclectic French style, and now you can find them in Dallas, thanks to local boutique V.O.D. The Paris-based label can be elusive in the U.S., but we’re not surprised that the ultra-cool Victory Park shop has snagged the bags.
The unique, craftsmen-rendered bags incorporate multiple leathers, suedes, skins, and colors that evoke a well-traveled aesthetic, and the designer’s roots in creating apparel are evident in the supple, carry-them-constantly feel of each handbag. Celebs like taste-maker Diane Kruger, Jade Jagger, and Jessica Biel have all been spotted carrying bags by Dreyfuss.
Our current favorite? That’s easy. We love the “Lucien” handbag for its wild mix of python, fringe, and delicate chain detailing. (See a photo of our prime pick above) Coming in a close second, we truly want the cross-body “Twee” bag for Summer travel.
Typically priced between $650 and $1,500, Dreyfuss’ bags are an investment, but we think they are well worth it given the custom tailoring of the pieces and longevity of the diverse materials. We can only hope V.O.D. plans to carry some of the label’s very covetable leather and suede jackets come Fall.
