Every day in August is "Dollar Day" at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.  The park is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Parking is $5.

Ferré Ristorante & Bar in Sundance Square has a great deal every Monday.  How does $0 sound for a two-course dinner?  The restaurant's "Dine On Us" promotion offers a free meal and only asks that guests pay for their drinks and tip their server according to what their meal would have cost -- had it not been free.  Sounds more than fair to me.  Reservations are recommended and more information is available on the restaurant's Facebook page.
