Whole Foods Celebrates Summer

From ripe, juicy tomatoes to cool watermelon and perfectly sweet peaches, the flavors of summer make the season sing.  What better way to spend a Saturday than exploring these fresh, warm-weather faves with the folks at Whole Foods?

Continuing through August 14, the natural market’s Summer Saturdays series features a different delicious theme each week.  Next up is a Taco Fiesta this Saturday, July 17.  Sample several varieties of the south-of-the-border snacks, along with salsa and guac to boot.

Then, take a walk on the lighter side with Ready, Set, Salad on July 24.  Pasta, fruit and veggie varieties are on the menu that day, followed by a Peachy Keen afternoon on the 31.  To honor those classic summer fruits, the Lakewood store promises grilled peaches with balsamic reduction and blue cheese.  Yum.

Now that could be worth rearranging your shopping schedule.
