Web Site Offers Best Time to Pee During a Movie

Sometimes you just have to go, but now you can know when to go

You've been there before.

You're in the theater, you've sucked down almost all of your Big Gulp size drink  and you've wolfed down an entire bucket of popcorn -- suddenly you hear that commercial jingle in your head: "Gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now."

Never fear. RunPee.com is here.

That's right, some genius has come up with a Web site that tells you when it's safe to go to the bathroom while in a movie.

The PeeTimes are user generated, what it calls a wiki-pee-dia, with movie goers everywhere offering up best times to duck out without missing a major plot point.

The site offers the latest movies in theaters, what time is best to leave your seat and how long you have to be in the bathroom.

To top it off, there's a scrambled message, that if you choose to unscramble it, will tell you what is happening while you're in the bathroom! No more asking, "What did I miss?"

An NBCDFW.com staffer who saw G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra this weekend agrees with the RunPee times listed. And points out it's nice to know there's nothing you'll miss once the credits start rolling.

RunPee.com points out you don't have to go to the restroom, you could just run and buy Whoppers or refresh your drink so that you can run and pee later (at the appropriate time).

RunPee.com also offers an iPhone app that will count you down to the next PeeTime, and soon the iPhone will vibrate to let you know the pee window is coming. The Web site claims to be working to bring it to other smart phones too.
