Tim Love's Woodshed to Open Wednesday

New restaurant sits right on Trinity River in Fort Worth

Tim Love's latest restaurant isn't a new Love Shack or Lonesome Dove expansion -- it's more like an uber backyard BBQ.

The Woodshed Smokehouse is situated right on the Trinity River in Fort Worth, with a open-air design that stretches through the whole complex.

And we mean complex. Love's BBQ at Woodshed will be smoked by one of six different woods and marinated for hours (or even days) before served to guests at wooden picnic tables on a riverside patio.

In fact, the entire south side of the restaurant opens up to view the Trinity and allow folks to enjoy the sounds coming from the 600 person capacity live music venue on-site.

Since the restaurant is along the Trinity Trails, Love hopes that customers will visit the Fort Worth walking and biking attraction -- and that those walking will become customers after a stroll.

Of course, there's Love's great food to nosh on while enjoying the space -- including beef, pork, lamb, game bird, and deer for just some of the meat options. Love plans to have an "animal of the day" roasting to shake things up.

The Woodshed Smokehouse is scheduled to open on February 1, 2012. Dinner will be served Wednesday-Friday for the first week, but the restro will have coffee and pastries starting at 7 a.m. and lunch starting at 11 a.m.
