The winner of the seventh annual corny-dog eating contest at the State Fair of Texas was a familiar face.

Mike Wilkes, of Krum, was took the top honors Sunday for the third year in a row. He downed 11 Fletcher's Corny Dogs in 10 minutes.

Wilkes also grabbed the top spot in 2008 and tied for the crown in 2007.

Three people -- Tae Oh, of Plano; Brent Ricord, of Keller; and Troy Cox, of Wylie -- tied for second place.

The contest attracted hundreds of hungry people.

"I'm here for the free parking, the free ticket and the free corny dog -- and to make me look good and to make you look good," one woman said.
