The Common Table Celebrates 1 Year Anniversary

Pop the top off this party

It's hard to believe a year has already passed since The Common Table opened in the old Lola space in Uptown.

To celebrate the bar/resto is throwing a traditional German Sommerfest, where guests can sip German wheat beer to the beat of oom-pah band music.

Enjoy!

Here’s more from the press release:

German biergarten from noon – 5 p.m. on June 11, 2011.

Sommerfest’s menu features traditional German fare like bratwurst, sauerkraut, chicken and frankfurters, paired with Paulaner Hefe-Weizen.

Outside tables will allow guests to enjoy their brats and beer al fresco. If the weather isn’t cooperative, there are also tables and chairs inside.

The Common Table’s founding partners, Cory Pond and Jeff Fryman, attended Starkbierfest in Munich in 2007 where they visited the Paulaner breweries, and since mused about how they could bring the Munich experience and Bavarian culture to their fellow beer-loving Texans.

They continue to recreate the spirit and atmosphere of Munich, with a full program of live music, German food and costumes.

The first 100 guests at The Common Table’s Sommerfest will receive a free Paulaner Stein.

The Common Table is located at 2917 Fairmount St, Dallas, TX. For further information call 214 880 7414, or visit: http://www.thecommontable.com
