Taco Mundo To Open in Dallas and Fort Worth

More Mexican food is coming to North Texas. Yay!

Co-founder of Mi Cocina’s, Caroline Galvan-Rodriguez, is opening up two new Taco Mundo restaurants in the coming months. In the Preston Royal area of Dallas the taqueria will take up the space formerly occupied by Gap Kids (and next door to White House Black Market). Its Fort Worth locale is in Centreport.

Expect quickly prepared Mexican fare served in a brightly colored environment. Brisket and rib eye tacos deviate a bit from Taco Mundo’s typical tacos, fajitas, burritos and quesadillas. Their wraps offer a healthy option for those of you watching your thighs. Order the Queso #4, an aged cheddar cheese with Serrano peppers, cilantro and onions sauce over enchiladas, if you’re not one of the aforementioned thigh conscious consumers.

Carolina’s signature margarita is called The Bomb. The classic margarita is infused with Sangria and should leave patrons feeling bombed.
