Hungry for sweets on the go? A North Texas mobile cupcake business pulls over for customers.
A sign on the car for Nieka's Sweet Treats advertises "mini cupcakes on board" and urges customers to "honk to pull us over."
Kellen and Johnieka McMillan deliver across the Fort Worth and Arlington areas. They use their Twitter account to tell people when and where they'll be.
"I will tell people -- when they stop in their cars to get cupcakes -- I always say, 'Make sure your seat belt is on and shoes are tied tight, because these are going to knock your socks off,'" Kellen McMillan said.
Nieka's Sweet Treats specializes in mini-cupcakes and peanut brittle.
Johnieka McMillan said making cupcakes for a living is a sweet deal.
"I think it's really fun because I went from a daycare to owning my own business and just making cupcakes, or really, just what people like," she said.
The couple juggles two businesses, children and college. But Kellen McMillan said their cupcake business doesn't quite feel like work.
"It's pretty fun to feel like people count on you and enjoy you and love what you do," he said. "We get so many thumbs up every day, so it's pretty awesome."
