Nana, with its menu full of fresh ideas like the cucumber spaghetti shown here, is among the restaurants participating in KRLD's Restaurant Week.

Wanna have your birthday dinner towering over the city at Five Sixty? You might consider rescheduling your birthday for, say, mid-August. KRLD NewsRadio 1080 has released the names and phone numbers of over 100 restaurants in DFW that will offer three-course meals for $35 the week of August 17-23. And hopefuls should use those phone numbers today, as participating spots begin taking reservations -- newer eateries like the aforementioned creation of Wolfgang Puck are bound to book up quickly.

The station's Restaurant Week, sponsored by Central Market, benefits the North Texas Food Bank and the Lena Pope Home via $7 donations made to the groups with each meal puchased during the special.

Dallas' bejeweled Charlie Palmer at the Joule and three locations of DFW favorite Texas de Brazil are in. Spots we've paraded in this space recently like Nana at the Anatole and the famous rooftop-patioed Reata in Forth Worth are participating, too. (An entree like Alaskan King Salmon at Nana will cost you $42, for perspective.)

The event's Facebook group is hopping this morning with helpful comments. Foodies can add DFWRestaurantWk on Twitter for updates on specials.
