Regulars Rave About Railhead

Regulars are flexing their beer muscles at Railhead, where schooners of beer are just as heavy as they are cold.

Owned by former state representative Charlie Geren, Railhead is known for its tasty ribs, award-winning fries and icy schooners of beer. It’s the “coldest beer in town,” according to General Manger Gilbert Gamez.

Bikers that used to frequent the place on weekends quit rollin’ in a couple years ago. Now hungry patrons file in with kids in tow for family-sized helpings of smoked brisket, mustard potato salad and hand-cut fries.

There’s a drive-in for people on the go and customers can satiate cravings anywhere in the country by ordering online.
