We can't wait to get a Love Burger in our mouths...wait...that doesn't sound right.
Tim Love hoped to open his second Love Shack this month, but it won't happen until July.
"It's coming right along. The building will be ready in June, but we'll delay the opening until the third week in July," said Love.
The Fort Worth chef and restaurateur said he wants to make sure everything is ready to go when he starts serving the classic Love Burger, homemade root beer and new items like a chicken sandwich called The Love Bird.
The new Love Shack will open in Fort Worth's SoSeven development, a mixed-use retail-residential complex just across the Trinity River west of downtown Fort Worth.
After that, Love is taking his burger joint across state lines. He told us to expect a Love Shack in Shreveport by the fall. In the meantime, head to the original Love Shack in the Stockyards.
