Throw on your fat pants and get ready to scarf down more cow babies, because Smashburger is coming to Dallas.

Named for its cooking method used to create the restaurant’s concept of a perfect burger, Smashburgers start with a one-third or half-pound ball of 100-percent Angus beef -- fresh, not frozen --smashed, seared and seasoned on a flat grill. Smashburgers are served on a butter-toasted artisan bun and topped with a selection of real cheeses, fresh produce and quality condiments.

And the smashing doesn’t stop there. The restaurant also serves Smashchicken, Smashdogs and Smashsalads, with sides like veggie frites and rosemary and garlic-seasoned Smashfries. Diners can round out there smash session with Häagen-Dazs shakes, root beer floats or beer and wine with their meal.

Denver, Colorado-based Smashburger is a fast-casual restaurant that plans to launch multiple Dallas locations in the next year.
