A farmers market is coming to downtown Arlington.
The Downtown Arlington Management Corp. is organizing the weekly market to be open on Fridays from Oct. 2 to Dec. 18 on Front Street between Mesquite and Elm streets, the Star-Telegram reports.
The market is open to anyone that wants to sell produce, including backyard gardeners, and organizers have an emphasis on locally grown goods.
From 9 a.m. until they run out, vendors will sell everything from produce to flowers to bedding plants; including some organic baked, preserved and canned goods, the Star-Telegram reports.
Organizers will charge $10 to vendors from Arlington and $15 for those who reside outside of the city. A city health permit may be required to participate.
