Fashion and frozen yogurt will merge when Yumilicious opens in Snider Plaza on December 10th.
Local designer Shirin Askari (of Project Runway fame) will host the opening of the Dallas-based franchise's eighth location.
"Dessert is one of my favorite things in the world. And with the healthier options at Yumilicious I never have to feel guilty about giving in to my cravings," said the designer.
DJ Tek-Neek will provide beats at the opening party.

Yumilicious will celebrate their grand-opening by providing free yogurt to all guests between 5 p.m.-9 p.m. and offering numerous raffle prizes throughout the evening.

They are dynamic, sophisticated, health conscious and sociable,” said Mary Kwan, franchisee of Yumilicious Snider Plaza.The Snider Plaza location will have 16 flavors and 40 plus toppings. Low calorie frozen yogurt flavors will include: Red Velvet Cake, Avocado, Cake Batter, Cappuccino, Peanut Butter, Plain Tart, Coconut, Strawberry, No Added Sugar Chocolate and No Added Sugar Vanilla yogurt.
Guests will receive free yogurt and numerous chances to win raffle prizes which include a 32GB iPad plus 3G, 2 tickets to Shirin Askari’s fashion show, free yogurt for 1-year (1 free yogurt/wk), 100 t-shirts and gift cards.
Throughout the weekend yogurt fans will have the chance to win more prizes and discounts. On Saturday, December 11th and Sunday, December 12th guests will receive 20% off all day and have the chance to win the 32GB iPad+3G (winner drawn on Monday, December 13th). Yumilicious will also be giving away 23 yogurts via KPNI SMU Radio.
