Want to enjoy free pancakes while supporting a good cause? You're in luck.
On February 28 the International House of Pancakes (IHOP) will celebrate National Pancake Day by serving up complimentary buttermilk pancakes between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Although the pancakes are free, guests will be invited to make a voluntary contribution to a local charity. IHOP locations in Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Wyoming will be raising funds for Shriners Hospitals for Children.
IHOP hopes to raise $2.7 million with its National Pancake Day celebration this year, bringing the total amount of money raised for local charities to more than $10 million in seven years.
