TX Food Truck Fest Headed to Dallas

Food trucks from Dallas, Austin rally for food festival and 5K charity run

On Friday and Saturday, U.S. Food Trucks is hosting their first annual state-wide TX Food Truck Fest.

Around 30 trucks from all over Texas will come together in this two-day event to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The party starts on Friday at 5 p.m. and lasts until 10 p.m. at the south lot of Valley View Center (13331 Preston Road) in North Dallas. The Dash & Dine 5K run/walk and 1 mile fun run benefiting Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will be at 8 a.m. on Saturday.

On Saturday, the block party starts at 11 a.m. and will run until 11 p.m. Those who participated in the walk/run will be admitted free, along with children under 5. Entrance for all others will be $5, and 15% of the admission proceeds will be donated to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

So what’s for lunch?

Pretty much anything you can think of. Food trucks catering to every taste bud—from Cajun to Korean/Mexican fusion, fish, BBQ, and Japanese burgers—will be on site.

A complete list of food truck vendors is available on the TX Food Truck Fest’s web site here. Do not view the site on an empty stomach.

There will also be entertainment, bands, arts and craft vendors, bounce houses, free parking, and loads of fun to keep you entertained between meals.

Come hungry!
