Sweet Addition to Your Summer

Dallas by Chocolate Taste Tours offers tours to chocolatiers, bakeries, and specialty shops throughout the Dallas area every weekend in July.

Are you a self-proclaimed chocoholic? Can't resist the devilish decadence of chocolate in any form? Chocolate lovers beware; Dallas has just the treat for you, and it is oh so sweet.

Dallas by Chocolate Taste Tours offers weekday, weekend and private tours to visit local chocolatiers, bakeries and shops. For $30, participants get transportation between locations via private buses, as well as delicious samples at each of the tour stops.

The tours make it easy to stay happy and hydrated during bus rides, with games, the opportunity to learn about Dallas landmarks, and refreshments while aboard.

Chocolate Taste Tours' remaining tours for July are listed below:

  • “Chocolate Makes You Cool” Tour: July 8, 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.  On this tour, you will indulge at some of Dallas’ “coolest chocolate venues.”
  • “I Love Bread and Chocolate” Tour: July 15, 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Forget loafing around the house, join this tour and try out some of the best bread, chocolate and wine that Dallas has to offer.
  • “Chocolate and Cheese Please” Tour: July 22, 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. It's a strange coupling, but definitely one to try.
  • “Chocolate with a Twist” Tour: July 28, 12 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Anything covered in chocolate is divine, but pastries that are covered, dipped or drizzled with chocolate raise the bar. If you love pastries, this tour is for you.

Have little-ones, but don’t want to pay for a sitter? Each tour is family-friendly, and kids younger than six are free.

Tours are typically between fifteen and thirty participants, and space is limited, so register early for your favorite chocolate adventure today. For more information, visit the Dallas by Chocolate website.
