While many designers experimented with daring, futuristic styles for spring, others looked back to Hollywood's golden era, when leading ladies like Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo and Bette Davis lit up the screen. At Temperley London, a high-drama white caftan dress with a floral-embroidered bodice was shown with a silky head-wrap and black sunglasses.
