Boutique Obsession: Adeline

Our latest shopping obsession in Dallas is the new boutique, Adeline. Specializing in contemporary clothing and home accessories, Adeline offers cool selections from labels like Vintage Havana and AnM. But the best part - nearly everything in their University Park store is priced under $150.

Adeline's owner, Graeme Gehring, posseses a luxe yet laid-back style, and though she's just recently graduated from the University of Oklahoma, her taste and trend-spotting abilities are well beyond her years. Turns out, she's learned from the best; her father, Randall Gehring, owns Enchanted Lighting, located just around the corner from Adeline.

"Retail sort of runs in the family. So, I was somewhat familiar with the process. When I was younger, I would go to the home markets with my Dad and try to convince him to buy accessories and bags to sell in his shop," says Graeme of her boutique background.

Some of our top picks on Adeline's well-stocked racks include unstructured dresses by Savannah Rose and Hazel. Other things we loved? The tunic tops by Ocean Drive and relaxed, dip-dyed tees by Freeloader. Unique clutches by Jesslyn Blake are also among our current favorites.

The hot shop, located at 4412 Lovers Lane, is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. We also suggest you connect with Adeline via Facebook to stay on top of special sales and new arrivals.
