On June 10, a 6-foot version of Seward Johnson’s famous “Times Square Kiss” sculpture will visit the Atria Richardson senior living community in Richardson.
Promoting the National Spirit of ’45 Day, the sculpture will be on display from 10 a.m. to noon before heading to San Antonio as part of a campaign to raise awareness for the National Spirit of '45 Day.
The sculpture is a representation of the iconic Life magazine photo featuring a sailor and nurse kissing in New York’s Times Square on August 15, 1945, or V-J Day.
Ghost had a great kiss at the end, but it would probably prove too tricky to sculpt. Something from Fifty Shades of Grey would probably not go over well as a 25-foot visual.
What kiss would you pick to represent an era?
