The All Birdville Band got to march where few bands get to, at the 122nd Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena.
The theme of this year's parade "Building Dreams, Friendships and Memories" seemed fitting for the 540-member band which included students from Birdville, Haltom and Richland high schools.
Last Wednesday, the band showed off their new uniform jackets during a special performance down Mid-Cities Boulevard in North Richland Hills before they headed to Pasadena.
The All Birdville Band is the only Texas band invited to perform in the parade.
The band marched in Bandfest Wednesday and marched at Disneyland Thursday.
Other Texas entries in the parade are in the equestrian category, the 1st Calvary from Fort Hood and the All American Cowgirl Chicks from Weatherford will trot down the streets of Pasadena.
