Foodies, start your engines and head to the Food Truck Smack Down on Oct. 21, 2011 at the Sunset Lounge from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Collecting a half-dozen Dallas-area food trucks, the Smack Down is a easy way to check out all the gourmet truck fare, all for a good cause.
The event proceeds go to help the Ten for 10 Water for Africa project, which will help over 17,000 Rwandans get clean drinking water.
Attendees will snag a full sampling from the trucks involved plus three drink tickets. VIP tickets net two extra drinks and access to the VIP happy hour before the event's start. All attendees will get to vote on the winning truck after sampling their wares.
Regular admission is $60 before Oct. 10 -- after that, it bumps up to $75 per person. VIP tickets are even higher, starting at $100.
